Winston had 4 tests last Friday! This is the life of second grade. Well, yesterday he busted through the door so pumped up because he made 100's on all of his tests!!! So in order to celebrate, I put out the china and we had a "fancy" celebration dinner. We were so proud of him and more importantly he was proud of himself!

His Idea...I Promise!
Winston has been taking piano for three years now. He just loves it...well sometimes. This year at Christmas he asked if he could invite his friends over and have a piano recital. Of course, I said YES!!! So we talked to his precious piano teacher and she worked with him on some songs and he also sang "Away In The Manger"! We then had cookies and cocoa afterwards. It was the most precious thing...his friends were so sweet and he did a great job. I was a proud momma!!!
Here are a few of Winston's friends who came to listen to his sweet music!
This is Winston and his piano teacher, Ms. Mika, playing a duet!

Silly Boy!
Last week Winston came into our room and said "Like my new summer outfit?" Ty and I started cracking up! He can be so funny!

That is my shirt--he put his legs through the arm holes! The glasses are paper and are from his 100th day of school party! He has such a great personality and I just love him to death!

And The Winner Is......
Anyway, Winston won first place--he went undefeated. I was a proud momma. Can I say that I have a great son? Every time his car won he never got overly excited, he would just calmly pick up his car with a slight smile and walk back to start of the track. He really is a humble kid. He reminds me so much of his dad. They both are calm, patient, caring and loving. I know that Winston doesn't realize this but I learn so much from him. I am so blessed to call him my son.
