JUMP!!!!

I feel so bad because I haven't really written anything about the boys this summer. It has been so crazy around here! The boys have really enjoyed their trampoline this summer. We were able to put it under a big tree, at our new house, so it gets lots of shade and isn't so hot. They have also figured out that it is really fun to take the sprinkler and hook it to the net of the trampoline so they can jump and get wet at the same time. It makes it kind of slick but I think they think its better that way. Today Winston finally got the courage (after I told him I would pay him $5) to do a flip. I was so proud of him. He tends to be on the cautious side but today he to the plunge! Here are some pics of the boys and their trampoline!!!!

Trip To The Lake!

Well, we have been to the lake twice this summer. The boys just love it!! My mom has been living with us since the beginning of June so that has made their summer lake fun even better. There is just something about the lake that makes my family happy--we are making great memories!

His Idea...I Promise!

Winston has been taking piano for three years now. He just loves it...well sometimes. This year at Christmas he asked if he could invite his friends over and have a piano recital. Of course, I said YES!!! So we talked to his precious piano teacher and she worked with him on some songs and he also sang "Away In The Manger"! We then had cookies and cocoa afterwards. It was the most precious thing...his friends were so sweet and he did a great job. I was a proud momma!!!

OK...I am doing this for my dad because Wyatt's birthday is about to role around again and I STILL HAVEN'T POSTED WINSTON'S BIRTHDAY! I know, I am awful...time just gets in my way. So here it is...I am even trying to remember what his party theme was...oh yeah...JUNGLE!!! This is pics from his 7th birthday...he is such a sweetie!!!

Hello Out There!

I know, I know, it has been forever since I've blogged. What can I say, life has just had us going in circles. Every time I thought about sitting down to write--something would barge in and take its place. So anyway, enough with the excuses--I have a little time right now.

Last Friday was pet day at Wyatt's school. Ty took our beagle, Missy, to school so Wyatt could show him off. After show-n-tell was over, Ty brought Missy and Wyatt to the store AND being the "nice" mom that I am--I let Wyatt and Missy stay for the rest of the afternoon. (I know--I'm losing it!) But I must say that it ended up being an enjoyable afternoon--look below and you will see why!

Well, what you do for one you must do for another. So Monday I took Missy to Winston's class. She had a ball and now I really deserve Mom of the Year!

Play-Doh Party!

This morning we sat down and made play-doh candy! We imagined that we worked at the candy factory--our creations were wonderful! What a fun Saturday morning!

I told Ty to make sure that my head wasn't it any pictures because I had a serious case of bed head!
